When the Tree jumped up and killed him
They did not know whether to morn the passing of a clown or a statesman.
History decided and choose the clown
because laughter is more durable than the going and coming of governments.
The tree did not think that the event was especially important but most of the people did.
The media and public were intensely frustrated to find that there was no one to blame.
There was no one to incinerate or at the very least incarcerate.
It was just one more day in the life of the tree.
The world traveled from near and far to participate in his passing
Their words of praise and condolence some how got buried with him
But the work that he did and the man that he was stood up for him
And the tree and the man had become one
